For your Reflection The Gospel Lesson is about sharing the love of Christ with new people. Jesus challenges the disciples to make room in their lives so that they can share the life they have known in Him with others. Consider these ways to 'share the love' in our lives with others:
*
Make "Share the Love" valentines for your friends at church. Use whatever you have on hand at home that reflects something you love. Bring them with you and share them on February 14 when remember Kenya Connect and the ways we share the love beyond St. John's.
*
Call an older neighbor or friend to check in on them.
*
Go to The Poetry Foundation and find a poem that opens up your heart.
*
Make Survival Biscuits and share them among your household remembering that many people of the world live on these simple ingredients every day. Knead together 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of water. Roll to 1/4 inch thick and cut in 4 inch squares. Bake at 400 for 35 to 45 minutes until the biscuits are hard.
*
Read the entire Second Letter to the Corinthians or the entire Gospel of Luke.
*
Submit the Parish Survey (available through this website). See link above.
*
Free you heart space by completing one project at home you have been putting off.
*
When the snow stops, build a snow sculpture, revel in the sun glistening off the snow, give thanks for the granduer of God!
