The St. John's community continues to support those effected by the Ellicott City flood through donations and coordinated efforts in partnership with St. Peter's. We are EC Strong! Ellicott City Strong & Strong as the Episcopal Church. Interim Rector John L. Rabb has secured an Episcopal Relief Development (ERD) grant to help our community continue relief efforts as the cleanup and restoration process continues. The Rev. Dr. Carol Pinkham Oak retired from 30 years of ministry, with the last 10 as the Rector of St. John's on Sunday, May 1. The Rt. Rev. John L. Rabb is serving as the Interim Rector of St. John's effective May2, 2016. A rector search committee has been formed, and is actively working with the St. John’s clergy team, parish staff, lay leaders and vestry to guide the parish through the transition process.
