A Christian Response to Violence
Reclaiming the Gospel of Peace
Workshop at St. John’s: Sat. Oct. 4, 8:30-3:00 p.m.

Facilitator, Matthew Ellis, CEO of Episcopal Health Ministries, will lead conversations about how we can address violence in Ellicott City. Learn more about how Episcopal Churches are responding to violence and how we can apply these programs to our own communities. Ellis is actively involved in interfaith violence prevention at the national level.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided, so advanced reservations will be appreciated. This event is open to all. Free will offering.  Contact: Diane Standeven at 410-461-6213. Click here for a flyer.

It is best to arrive a bit early to get your mat set up – we start promptly at 6:30.  October 2 – November 20. Cost= $100 for 8 weeks (25% of proceeds go to St. John’s Pastoral Care Commission).  Call the parish office with questions.  410-461-7793

Be the Light. Share the Light!
Daisy baptism  "Be the Light. Share the Light!", our Annual Campaign theme this year, continues to sweep through our lives. Without you, the Light at St. John's is diminished. With you, the Light radiates from you and is shared with many others. You help us Be the Light and Share the Light at St. John’s.
