NexTrex "Bagzilla" Challenge

On Earth Day 2024, we launched our NexTrex "Bagzilla" Challenge and — AMAZINGLY! — in just four months we achieved our goal to collect 1000 lbs. of single-use plastic film. We have since received our NexTrex bench, made of the repurposed plastic film, which is located in the Garden Labyrinth. Many parishioners have continued to recycle plastic film, and we appreciate that. Learn more about St. John's efforts.

What is "qualifying plastic film"?

 

Your collections may be dropped off on the weekend at services in the Historic Church and All Saints Hall. There is also a box in Resurrection Chapel for Sunday and weekday drop-offs. Questions may be directed to CreationCare@stjohnsec.org.
