All Youth Retreat: Connected in Christ 

Sat., Sept. 19, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

 

We hope you will join us for this in-person and virtual retreat where we are reminded that we are all connected through Christ to each other, the church, and the wider community. To maximize the safety of our youth and leaders, we will stagger our time and groups between on campus and virtual meetings during the day. Check in for our Rite-13 youth begins at 8:45 a.m. with everyone joining in the first gathering (in-person for Rite-13 and virtually for all other groups) at 9 a.m. There will be breaks throughout the day to allow for disinfection on site as well as travel to and from campus. We end the evening with a wonderful "drive-in" celebration about 30 minutes from St. John's on the grounds of a local parishioner. There, we will celebrate safely in our cars. (Parents: please know you and your vehicle will need to stay with your youth).

NOTE ON SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

For the safety of our youth, leaders, clergy, and parent volunteers, all participants will be required to wear a mask during our in-person time together and to keep the required social distance of 6' from each other. Remember--keep room for Jesus and six of his disciples between you and the next person!

 

All youth who register for the retreat must also complete the youth registration AND Medical Release (if you have not already completed). In addition, all participants will need to complete a Youth Retreat Covenant (updated) that will be emailed as part of the registration process. These forms must be returned to Colleen Citrano (ccitrano@stjohnsec.org) by September 17 in order to participate in the retreat.
