TIDINGS OF COMFORT: GRIEF & SADNESS DURING THE PANDEMIC
Tues., Dec. 8; 7:00 p.m.; live on Facebook
(Recorded service will be available on YouTube by Dec. 9 at 12 p.m.)

The darkness of winter has shortened our days. The waning days of 2020 find us more isolated, sad, and anxious. Some are mourning the death of a loved one as the holidays approach. All of us mourn the deaths of thousands of Americans from COVID-19. As we seek comfort, peace, and spiritual renewal even as the pandemic rages, you are invited to Tidings of Comfort. This annual service will be held on Tues., Dec. 8th at 7:00 p.m., broadcast live on Facebook from Resurrection Chapel.
The Revs. Katrina and Stephen will lead worship and reflection as we bring our sorrows to God and ask for the blessing of true peace. (The recorded service will be available on YouTube by noon on Dec. 9th.)
As we prepare for Tidings of Comfort, from Sat., Dec. 5th until Tuesday at noon, you are welcome to bring a picture of a deceased loved one to Resurrection Chapel. The worship setting will include these photos in our communal time of prayer. Christ will light the way and the darkness will not overcome us. Join us for this message of hope at our annual Tidings of Comfort service.
