WELCOME TO ST. JOHN'S
If you’re looking for a spiritual home, exploring your faith, searching for ways to serve your community, or seeking to make a difference, St. John’s Episcopal Church answers those longings. We’re here to serve your spiritual needs and help you deepen your relationship with God, those you love, and yourself.
In "normal" times, we enjoy greeting new people at the door to the church with smiles and friendly handshakes. Still, during this time of Covid-19 virtual gathering, we want to make you feel welcome and included in all that makes St. John's the community it has been for close to 200 years. Our invitation to worship and share in the ministries of this parish and activities comes from wonderful people of different ages, interests, and talents. In celebrating the glory of God together, you will discover the joy of making new friends, the excitement of making your life purposeful, and the hope that springs from following Christ. Come and belong to a community that worships, learns and loves.
Traditionally, St. John's has held a monthly "Newcomers Orientation" on the first Sunday of the month. At these gatherings, interested persons join clergy, vestry, and members of our various commissions in conversations about St. John’s, its programs, and ways to get involved. Currently, we are planning for a Zoom version. If you are interested in learning more about St. John's, please introduce yourself by completing our "Tell Me More" Form, and a clergy member or a member of our Hospitality team will be in contact with you.
At St. John’s all are welcome! Wherever you find yourself on your faith journey; whatever you are believing or doubting; whether you are married, partnered or single; whatever your physical or mental abilities; no matter your age or economic status, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity: we welcome you here to be met by God, who already knows you and loves you.
